You saw a Short. Here's how it was made.

Every Shotcoda video, including the one that brought you here, was made start to finish by an AI pipeline on one PC. This page explains how in five minutes, and how you can get the same pipeline making videos for you.

1 · What happened

A paragraph went in. A finished Short came out.

The pipeline started from a short brief: a topic, a few sourced facts and a visual style. From there, with no editor involved:

  1. Research checked that people search for the topic and collected sourced facts.
  2. An LLM director wrote the narration and a shot-by-shot plan.
  3. Qwen3-TTS designed a narrator's voice and spoke every line.
  4. Z-Image Turbo painted each shot and Wan 2.2 animated it.
  5. ACE-Step composed the music, and sound effects were synthesised in code.
  6. HyperFrames cut it together with captions and motion graphics.
  7. A quality gate checked loudness, frames and every shot.
  8. It was uploaded with title, description and AI disclosure.

All of the media was generated on the PC's own graphics cards: no SaaS, no stock footage, no per-video fees. See every stage →

2 · Is your PC enough?

The 30-second hardware check

YES

NVIDIA with 16 GB+

RTX 4060 Ti 16 GB, 5060 Ti 16 GB, 4070 Ti Super, 4090 or 5090, with 32–64 GB RAM and 150 GB free SSD. You're ready.

MAYBE

NVIDIA with 12 GB

Runs lighter models with lower motion quality. Often the better move is one extra 16 GB card rather than a new PC.

NOT YET

Laptop, Mac or AMD GPU

The stack is NVIDIA CUDA on Linux. Send your specs and get a straight answer on the cheapest path.

3 · The only input

This brief is all Shotcoda needs.

Fill it in yourself, or let the research stage write it. Everything after this is automatic.

  • Facts need sources. The script may only use numbers from the fact sheet, which is how the Shorts stay accurate.
  • Exact things are drawn, not generated. Numbers, maps and shapes become motion graphics.
  • One visual world. A single style line keeps every shot consistent.

4 · Choose your path

Two ways to get Shotcoda making your videos

Have it built for you

Harri installs and configures Shotcoda on your GPU machine and tunes it to your topics, look, voice and channels, with auto-upload to YouTube, Facebook and Instagram. You feed it ideas.

Follow along first

New Shorts go out on YouTube, TikTok and Facebook, and making-of videos that show exactly how each one was produced are on the way. Watch the pipeline improve, then decide.

Prefer email? Send a pre-filled message with four quick questions: what you make, how often, your GPU and where you publish.
